It was early in the day on November 4th in the year 1843 when a quiet baby boy was born to Artos and Lucia t'Acuto. Thankfully the 30 years war was coming to an end, allowing Artos to be present for his first born and heir to enter the world, Jordan t'Acuto.
Life for the young man was rather simple, he learned to walk and talk though at times people wondered about the later as he remained rather quiet and distant from most. Though, a lot of his quietness changed when he was two and two little bundles entered the family, Marie and Eva. Jordan took right after his father in the sense of family protection instantly and would try to keep his sisters safe from every mishap, though not always quite successful. Kids will be kids as most say.
Jordan took to watching his father train from an early age as well, wishing to ensure he could protect his sisters, his mother and anybody else he thought could need it. He would sit with the wooden swords, watch Artos do something in training and then try to repeat which later became routine as Jordan was trained by Artos before being sent to squire. The bastard sword, while too big for Jordan right away, became a tool that he want, no, needed to learn to do well because it was the weapon of his father, the weapon he used to protect everybody with in his eyes.
In the later part of Novemeber in the year of 1851, a young eight year old Jordan arrives in the camp of the Crown Prince, Jean-Paul's entourage. Jean-Paul was a newer knight and seemed to have quite a few squires running around, not even counting that the rest of the knights at court and all their squires too. Quickly introduced to them, Jordan attempts to get into working order and do what he must to become a knight one day.
It was really rough at first, it seemed, for Jordan to get moving in the right direction. He met a lot of other squires in training during such time, some notable were the likes of Michael l'Corren, Damien t'Artan, Adam t'Callar and Marco t'Juliano, to just name a few. Michael having been the King's squire, was seen quite a bit running back and forth from court and while Jordan was training, he could tell there might be some animosity present because of such.
When the two would be training together, it always seemed to be harder, perhaps, from one side to the other and as it continued the two would nearly be beating at each other. It shrunk to nothing, at least, in Jordan's mind it did as the years went by but there might still be some animosity left and remaining because of whom he was Squired too.
As the years went by, Jordan attempted to learn as Jean-Paul did, his weaponry style but it was the other knights that taught more in the art of swinging his bastard sword. He just couldn't seem to grasp that ordeal of a shield and sword, a smaller one at that.
As training and working became routine, Jordan would be seen out with Jean-Paul, as with the other squires as well, when JP would be seen carousing in taverns and with women. Jordan tried his best to not pay 'much' attention to these actions but some of it did rub off over the years.
As time continued on, Jordan pushed to train as a heavy calvaryman as well, considering his family and so forth and pushed to work with horses more than most did. He excelled with his work, in this respect though there was a few times he'd be knocked from the horse and land on his ass, specially when he first began.
After his 20th birthday, Jordan was knighted by King Maris as well as many of his other peers in a grand ceremony. He bids farewell just shortly after this to return home, but he would continue to return here and there to see friends and perhaps train with them as well. The Circle is, after all, a respected group of friends and knights.
He returns home as everybody does and sees nothing but training, courts and various other routines over the timeframe.
It is at the start of 1865 that Jordan's father, Artos, sits down to discuss the joining of the Vigilants with him. After some talk, Jordan agrees to the idea of joining and upon such is granted his Lightsilver Bastard Sword he is seen wearing at most times.
Shortly after this, in the early part of 1865, Avril to be precise, Jordan joins with the troops that Jean-Paul gathers and travels with the band to Murnord where he assists as best he can. He continues to fight, bitterly and hard as well, against the Barbarians of the Ice Queen's. Even as Jean-Paul leaves, he remains with the Duke and fights, hoping to one day be sure to see his friends and family again.
When, in the early parts Fevrier in 1866 that Jean-Paul is made Lord Marshal, Jordan assists in being part of his forces to move and help relieve Valetta. The assaulting and fighting is brutal for awhile and the skirmishes just seem to go back and forth. It was with luck, after a fight gone horribly wrong at first seems to turn the ties in Mai that the forces seem to rally when the Rivanan forces help turn the tide of the fight. Upon marching back home with Jean-Paul's forces, he remains in the courts just long enough to enjoy some of the festivities held with Jean-Paul's crowning before returning home to his family's estates in Garfana.
