Sunsreach Castle - Sunsreach - Rivana
The Interior of Sunsreach Castle is gorgeous, pristine and colored an earthly tone. These are regions that the sun has been allowed to touch, and the wood and stonework have faded with time but help give off a lovely glow. There is running water inside which help serve a series of gardens and numerous fountains about the area. A main guardhouse and barracks has been established for the soldiers, and the armory is setup next to a training area and stables for warhorses. A large arena has been setup for jousting and training, as well as a forge.
The castle is setup into three main blocks, with a large central area set off the main gatehouse which serves as the entrance to a grand garden with numerous fountains next to the main barracks. Staircases climb up the heavy, blockish walls to allow access to them as well as interior areas of the castle. High and joyous colors meet as one goes through the inner walls. This is a castle meant to enhance beauty as well as be ready for war. The central villa of the castle off the main gateway is the primary interior, where the administrative center of the kingdom is, as well as the throne room and storehouse.
The primary zones to the east is for living quarters for those who stay in the castle and help maintain them, as well as the inhabitants. Spanning up several stories, it is quite spacious with a network of intricately carved staircases and large central areas for those to gather.
The western zone is a work area, with a large central library and alcove, as well as a chapel for the One Faith within and a sanctuary. This area is also home to both the royal menagerie and the royal museum. The museum is a long vaulted building of two stories and vault below. The leaded glass fills the galleries with light and within various paintings and treasures of Rivana's past can be seen, including the bones of the last dragon. The menagerie, is a garden unto itself with pits holding a handful of rare creatures such as striped horses, lions, and other beasts.

The day had already been an overly long one, having to get up early…whether one had to see to tending to and riding in the long parade to the Cathedral, or ready to be at the Cathedral for the grand event. The excitement that had been building within the city leading to this momenteous day had reached a fevered pitch with the parade of the Champion throught the streets, and there were certain to be grand tales and ballads written about this day, the day the Queen married her Champion. The ceremony had been a grand affair to say the least, a who's who of the Edge had been present and then some with a contingent of Alhazred that had come to witness the occasion. Even with so much already past, there was more yet to fill the day, the grand feast to celebrate it all. Meaning one had ot catch their breathe and reprieve while they could…

Which is exactly what Emilia Cassomir was trying to do, truly escaping from people was an impossiblity this day. But at least there was some mild escape to one of the sitting rooms where simple refreshments had been laid out for some of those dealing with wedding matters. The young woman was dressed within a gown of Cassomir blue in a rather fashionable styling. A thin edging of red traces the neckline and the gentle off shoulder stylings of the gown. A similar edging found along the billow ends to the long sleeves. The slightly corseted waist aids in showing off the gentle curves and womanly form that are most often lost beneath Huntress garb. A sliver of red sets off the bottom of the corseting and travels round to fade beneath the bow that the red lacings that end within after criss crossing down her back before ending in that bow just under the small of her back. The skirts of the dress billow out around her legs, a slight train existing with red embroidery with a hint of gold in the thread forming an elegant scroll pattern. The gown accented by the simple choice of jewelry; small teardrop rubies that hang from her ears and a slightly larger one that rest about her neck. Similar glints of red can be seen upon the gold pins that hold her dark brown hair within the elegant style. A glass of wine has been found and is being sipped slowly.

Gawain is likewise ducking out from the hullabaloo, being a more ancilliary member of all the goings on at least makes it a little easier on him. He finds himself in the sitting room as well, dressed up as appropriate and currently fetching a glass of wine. He gives a look across towards the dress-clad-huntress and flashes a smile, "Gonna be a long day I think." He says, moving to find himself a chair nearby.

Dark eyes slowly drift over towards Gawain before Emilia offers an incline of her head to him. Perhaps ensuring he was actually speaking to her first. "It has been of a long of day of already, and shall be of having a long of evening of added ontop of it of all." There is a faint tugging at the corners of Emilia's lips in response to the smile given, what tends to amount for a smile from the rather stoic Cassomir. "Sir of Thaddeus is not of making you of run of all of day?" She had seen him oft enough with her brother's good friend.

"Well.. there's only so many things he can have me do today." Gawain says with a little grin, "And.. it really doesn't compare to when he got married anyway.. thaat was a lot of running around." He says, "But you get used to taking a break every now and then when you can!"

"Of true, you would have been kept much of busier for of his of wedding," Emilia concedes easily enough. Even if for that particular event, she had been left at home. Another small sip taken from the wine goblet before the vessal is set along to the small table near her chair. "It does seem of a thing that must be of learned quite of quickly, knowing when to take of breaks and fitting of them in when they can of be. Have seen before of squires who did not of figure out this of lesson. Are you of looking foreward to of this of evening of then?" ince surely most squires are given some leave to celebrate themselves amongst their noble peers.

Gawain nods his head a little, "And being at court seems a lot easier then the campaigning and everything we had been doing." he adds, taking a drink from his cup and offering a grin and a nod, "I'm real excited yeah, I can't wait to see all the lovely outfits, though I don't know if any'll top yours." He says with a grin, "M'lady."

"And I think there are of some that would say that being at Court is of being upon a campaign all of it's own. Though I do think a squires duties to be easier." Least certainly less armor to be polished! A brow raises just slightly and Emilia's dark eyes actually look to see if someone else has arrived to their area with his compliment. "You are much of kind, Sir of Gawain. " A mild tugging to the corners of her lips as the compliment is accepted, even if slightly delayed. "Though Her of Majesty's dress is far greater than mine-own."

"Oh, no doubt, and I can't wait to see it!" Gawain replies with a big smile, "But she's the queen, afterall." He says with a little shrug of his shoulders and a sip of the wine, "And I'm just being honest, M'lady!" He adds with another big smile.

"She is of the Queen, and is much of setting many of trends at of court. I of imagine there will be many of a dress taking of cues from her dress worn this day." It was a given, many fashions were set simply because Alysande had worn this or that. Emilia dips her head,"Of thanking, Lord of Gawain. I am certain Princess of Clara will be pleased to hear…" a beat before Emilia adds in way of explaintion,"she was of helping of me to find of a dress for of today."

"Aaah! Well, Princess Clara's out done herself I say!" Gawain says with a big grin at that and a little nod, "I'm sure a lot of new trends will be born tonight, as it were. It should be quite the show for the rest of the month seeing who can outdo the other, as far as outfits and the like!"

Another gentle upwards tug comes to the corners of Emilia's lips at the continued compliment. A brief hint of pink touching to her cheeks. "Of that, I am having no of doubt, it was of certain with having so many from about Rivana and of Couviere. But with also having some come from Alhazred? Not sure if there will be of outdoing of there, but I am suspecting that we may be of seeing some elements of their styling showing up in of outfits at Court in the time of ahead."

"I'd heard they were around, I haven't met any yet." Gawain says with a grin, "It should be exciting.. I wonder if any of them will compete in the tourney.." He says with a slight hmmn, "I suppose we'll know when we know, right? So how long are you going to be here for, M'lady?"

"I have not of met of any of either, but I was only of arriving to of the city upon the day of past." Emilia's head cants a little at that thought,"I am not of…sure. I would of imagine they have of similiar…But of aye, I am guesing we will of know when we of know. Perhaps Princess of Clara has heard…I shall have to ask of her if any of them have expressed of interest." It would certainly be a curiosity to see! "I am of being of here through the end of the tournament events, for of certain. How long of after…I am not of knowing." Her shoulders give a minor shrug. "Shall you be also of coming to mine-sister and Lord of Stephen's of wedding?" Uncertain of Thaddeus was having his squire along to his brother's wedding. It was certainly wedding time for the Cassomirs!

"Great! I was hoping you'd be here for that long at least!" Gawain says with a bright smile, "Always good to have new faces around, you know." He adds, "I'm pretty excited to see the tournament, might be the biggest yet I've seen." He pauses to refill his cup as he listens to the question and nods his head, "I can't imagine I wouldn't be going to the wedding."

Both brows actually raise at that,"You were of hoping I would be of around?" Mildly echoing his statement into a form of a question. Even if Emilia's mien seems to remain rather stoic, there is a faint timber of surprise in those words. "It should be of a grand of event, larger I am of thinking then of the Cornonation of events for King Jean-Paul." Her own goblet taken back up to draw a sip from it once again. "Will you be of competing in any of the events, or just of aiding Sir of Thaddeus in of preparing for of his?" A slight nod comes, the answer not surpring. "I of imagine many will be of paried of out by of then, but it will be of a much smaller of matter of well." A Viscountess marrying was a less notable event then a Queen marrying.

"Well, I mean in general, it's great that you'll be staying around for a bit!" Gawain explains, "And I think it might be bigger then the cornoation was too, more time for people to travel, less recent fighting, that sort of stuff." He agrees, "And I don't know that I'll be entering anything, maybe the melee or something, but most of my attention will be aiding Sir Thaddeus of course."

A slight little 'oh' slips at the explaintion, it did make far more sense then. Few at Court ever really wanted Emilia staying around. "Of true, there has been much more of time for of traveling and planning. " Certianly less fighting and war. Even peace was a possiblity. Emilia nods a little,"Makes of sense, he will be of wanting the aid in getting of ready. Especailly with the field that is likely to be of turning out for of the events. It shall be of exciting to have so many competing once again. I would of wonder if we shall have many of upsets."

"Are you planning on competing in any of the events? I'd be amazed if a Huntress didn't take the archery contest, you ladies are so good with your bows afterall!" He says with a grin, "I haven't a clue who might take the joust, though I bet Sir Thaddeus is a contender."

"Of aye, I will be of competing in of the archery." Certainly not a surprising answer, though Emilia does continue,"And likely of entering into of the painting area of the Artisitc competitions. But of aye, it does seem of oft that a Huntress is of winning of the archery, most often mine-sister in truth." The joust is given some consideration,"I am not of sure of either, the past of few…it has been quite of the turn about. I know Sir of Gabriel has come, but he has not been of winning of out of right as of like year. It might of yet be of anyones to take."

Gawain perks up a bit, "Oh, you paint, M'lady?" he asks, smiling bright, "It seems like such the passtime amongst the young women of the kingdom, I can't wait to see what you'll be presenting! That's maybe what I'm most looking forward to, I admit."

Emilia nods just a little,"Of aye, I do." A minor tugging occurs to the corners of her lips,"It does seem to be of pastime that is taken up by of a number. I am of sure mine shall be nothing worth of noting with all those who shall surely be of turning of out to show and compete in of this tournament." Canting her head a little,"You are much interested in of painting? Or are of other of areas of the artistic competitions more to of your interest?"

"I do a little writing myself, but I try to study and appreciate all of the passtimes." Gawain says with a smile, "Painting, song, instrument, you know. All that Rosendal stuff." He says with a little grin, "But I was never a good painter, and I can admit that without shame."

"Of aye..of course…Much like of Destrian, though he seems to be of preferring of sketching. Always of easier for him with how he likes to be of wandering of about." Emilia gives one of those odd smiles of hers, if they could even be called a smile,"I would not say I am of any of good. But it is a hobby that has of helped of me, and I was of having of an uncle who encouraged me to of share of my work, to push of myself by entering such of things…So I am of trying." There is a glance up as a servant nears, drawing a mild sigh from Emilia. "It is seeming my repreive is being of over. If you will be of excusing for of now, and perhaps I shall see of you of later, during of the banquet, of aye?" The young woman rising with ease to her feet as that goblet is set along, for good this time.

"I don't actually know my cousin very well at all." Gawain says, "I hadn't heard he was a talented sketcher!" He gives a smile, "Good to know though, and with peace maybe we can all focus on painting, or writing, and enjoying ourselves a bit more." He says, moving to rise as well, "I can't wait to see you later, M'lady. It should be a wonderful time!"
