To our Esteemed Head Chef:

I will be taking a small bowl of gruel and a cup of milk in the mornings prior to my departure to Matins service.

I will be taking a small loaf of bread and a cup of watered wine in the evenings upon my return from Evensong service.

Please ensure a pitcher of water is kept in my chambers full at all times.
